As part of Nationwide’s long running national TV ad campaign ‘Voices’, we were asked to help expand the concept into employee recruitment and empowerment. The brief was to take this social commentary of Britain out to the building society’s 18,000 employees and film them reciting poetry and ultimately make them feel more wedded to the wider brand campaign. From Northampton to Bournemouth, Swindon to Edinburgh, we held poetry masterclasses with leading lights from the TV campaign to coach the staff and film their poems of what it feels like to work at the world’s largest building society.
