In late 2019, LV= merged with Legal and General. Two giant insurance companies became one, across 9 offices in the UK. The challenge, to inspire all their 9000 employees to live and breathe the same customer centric approach. The brief was two-fold. 1) To show to employees what values LV= held dear, debunk and simplify them and actually demonstrate that both companies held very similar values, it was merely the nomenclature that differed. 2) Show that the best companies are those that have a rich tapestry of employees from different backgrounds, skills and viewpoints, and this blend was crucial in the future success of the newly formed company.
